This 90 minute webinar will define negative nurturing and identify the common parenting practices and behaviors of abusive and neglectful parenting. We will discuss the impact of violence and trauma on children's social and emotional development. Introduce the outcome of the ACE Study (Adverse Childhood Experiences).
Special instructions: TARGETED PARTICIPANTS: All Family Services, Foster Care, and Adoption Specialists are strongly encouraged to participate. All other Child Welfare staff are welcome to participate.
REGISTRATION: The link for the webinar will be sent to all Training Coordinators to distribute throughout their region. Training Coordinators are responsible for having staff complete a sign-in sheet to verify participation.
